Kierdyn Stockwell, Norwalk

Stockwell scored two individual victories from the No. 2 position for the Norwalk girls tennis team during the week.

On Sept. 2 Stockwell defeated Pella’s Addison Van Wyk — 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-4) during the Warriors’ 9-2 loss to the Dutch at Norwalk. On Sept. 5 Stockwell swept Indianola’s Chloe Chaplin in straight sets with a pair of 6-1 victories as part of Norwalk’s 8-3 victory over the Indians at Indianola.

Malia Rogers, Waukee

Rogers had a strong night at the net for the 5A No. 4 Waukee volleyball team during a four-set win over No. 13 Johnston (22-25, 25-21, 25-12, 25-10) on Sept. 4 at Johnston.
