Iowa women's basketball, Hannah Stuelke to miss today's Wisconsin game

Iowa women’s basketball has three players listed as out on the Big Ten-mandated availability report for Sunday’s game at Wisconsin.

Hannah Stuelke, Emely Rodriguez and Jada Gyamfi are not available for Iowa (23-5, 14-3 Big Ten Conference). Taylor McCabe is also listed as out for the season following an ACL injury last month.

Stuelke, a senior starter, has been battling injuries to her left shoulder and her right arm. Coach Jan Jensen said after Iowa’s most recent game that she didn’t think the injuries would be “season-altering.”

“It was pretty ginger in the locker room,” Jensen said after the victory over Illinois. “But I don’t foresee it being something that’s season-altering, but it is pretty sore.”

Losing Stuelke makes Sunday’s game more challenging for the Hawkeyes Stuelke is an All-Big Ten performer who averages 13.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.

Wisconsin (13-15, 5-12) has no players on the injury report.
