Jada Seubert’s terrific play and the growth in her game was recognized recently by ESPN. In its updated 2027 SC Next 100 player rankings, Seubert is ranked as a four-star and as the nation’s No. 72 player according to ESPN.
It’s a major achievement for Seubert to have cracked ESPN’s top 100 player rankings and the latest feather in her cap.
Seubert announced her commitment to Iowa on Jan. 17 and has seen her stock continue to soar nationally since.
A 5-foot-11 combo guard from Stevens Point, Wis., Seubert averaged 24.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals and 3.7 assists per game during her junior campaign with Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). Seubert earned first-team All-State honors, was the unanimous WVC All-Conference Co-Player of the Year and the WVC Defensive Player of the Year.
In addition to ESPN’s ranking, Seubert is a four-star commit, the No. 42 overall prospect, the No. 4 combo guard, and the No. 1 recruit in Wisconsin, per 247Sports. According to Prep Girls Hoops, Seubert is the nation’s No. 66 prospect and the No. 1 player in Wisconsin.
Although Seubert is still the lone Iowa commit for the 2027 class, Jan Jensen and the Hawkeyes have been working diligently to surround her with top-tier talents that will soon shine on the floor at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
