The stage is set for Iowa State football’s homecoming game.
After a much-needed bye week, the Cyclones will return to action by hosting No. 14 BYU on Saturday, Oct. 25. That game is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.
The game will be televised on FOX. The kickoff time and television broadcast info was announced on Oct. 13.
Iowa State has won all five matchups against the Cougars, dating to their first meeting in 1968. They most recently met in 2023 and played their first game against each other in 49 years, and Iowa State emerged victorious in a 45-13 result at Provo, Utah.
BYU is unbeaten, improving to 6-0 overall and 3-0 in Big 12 Conference play, after pulling off a double-overtime 33-27 victory at Arizona in its previous outing on Oct. 11. The Cougars will have a big rivalry game against Utah in a battle of top 25-ranked teams on Oct. 18, before heading to Ames.
As for Iowa State (5-2, 2-2), the Cyclones are looking to regroup after suffering back-to-back losses on the road to Cincinnati and Colorado.
