Iowa football welcomes 2027 4-star WR on official visit

After an official visit with Iowa football, one of the Hawkeyes’ top 2027 recruits, wide receiver Lawrence Britt, shared photos of his trip to Iowa City.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder out of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, Tenn., ranks as the No. 233 player nationally, as the No. 13 athlete and as the No. 10 prospect from The Volunteer State in 247Sports’ 2027 recruiting rankings.

Britt is a three-sport athlete, excelling in basketball, baseball, and football. He got snaps at wide receiver, running back, and defensive back as a junior this past fall, where he finished the season with 44 catches for 696 yards and 12 touchdowns while also carrying the ball 52 times for 299 yards and five scores.

The Hawkeyes offered Britt on April 29, joining a number of other offers from programs across the nation, including Big Ten foes Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Oregon, USC, and Wisconsin.
