The hunt for a guard via the transfer portal remains ongoing for the Iowa Hawkeyes, who are trying to fill the void left by Bennett Stirtz. While Iowa has been tied to many different guards, none of them have come to fruition quite yet.
The latest transfer portal that the Iowa Hawkeyes and head coach Ben McCollum are tied to hails from the CAA and is drawing interest from many power conference teams. The Hawkeyes have been linked to Campbell guard Jeremiah Johnson, the former four-star recruit out of Del City, Oklahoma.

Jeremiah Johnson spent his first year of college with Green Bay, where he averaged 10.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, while appearing in 30 games. This past season for Campbell, he appeared in 34 games with 31 starts, and averaged 15.2 points and 3.5 rebounds, while shootings 44.9% from the field and 37.4% from beyond the three-point line.
Johnson, who comes from Phoenix Prep and Phoenix, Arizona, is currently rated as a three-star transfer portal recruit, per 247Sports.
