Caitlin Clark continued her record-setting WNBA career by registering her 500th career assist on a second-quarter cross-court dime to Sophie Cunningham during the Indiana Fever’s Thursday contest at the Golden State Valkyries.
In addition to reaching the 500 assist plateau, Clark also became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach at least 1,000 points scored and 500 assists. Clark accomplished the feat in just her 59th career game, which was 23 games faster than the next-closest WNBA player in Sue Bird.
