Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones are still almost two weeks away from their big wedding celebration, but in the eyes of the law they were married Tuesday at a downtown Indianapolis courthouse.
Jones posted several photos on her Instagram account wearing a white dress carrying flowers while Haliburton was in a black t-shirt and pants. Jones’ caption was “It’s (courthouse) official” with emojis of a champagne bottle and a ring. One of the photos included friends and family who served as witnesses, including Haliburton’s mother, Brenda, and Pacers assistant coach Isaac Yacob.
Haliburton and Jones have been together since 2019 when they met as students at Iowa State where Haliburton spent two seasons on the basketball team and Jones was on the cheerleading squad. They were engaged last year at center court at the Hilton Coliseum while Haliburton was still getting around on a scooter following his Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. The bigger ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 1.
