Priceless family heirloom? Ask 'Antiques Roadshow' at its Indy stop

Is that family heirloom collecting dust in your basement actually worth millions? The most famous antique appraisal show in the country might be able to tell you its value when it rolls into town in a few months.

“Antiques Roadshow,” the long-running PBS series featuring expert assessment on antiques and collectibles, will visit Indianapolis June 1 to film its 31st season. Fans can enter a sweepstakes to win a pair of tickets to the Indianapolis stop from now until April 6.

Entry to the sweepstakes is available here, and the show will give away a number of tickets on its Instagram page. Entry to the “Antiques Roadshow” event is free, but tickets must be obtained in advance.

Fans will receive free verbal appraisals of up to two collectible items from experts with the country’s top auction houses and independent dealers. The show will reveal the Indianapolis venue where it will film in the coming weeks.

Indianapolis joins Tucson (May 19) and Mumford, New York (June 17) as the destinations for the roadshow’s 31st season. The events will produce three one-hour episodes that will air in 2027.

The June stop isn’t Indy’s first go-around with “Antiques Roadshow.” A 2017 episode filmed at the Indiana Convention Center saw experts assess an 1880s Victorian wedding ensemble, a Norman Rockwell self-portrait and a signed Indy 500 flag.
