On paper, anyway, as we take a look ahead at the Indianapolis Colts’ 2025 schedule, a potentially very difficult stretch awaits them coming out of the bye in Week 12.

We all know how good the Chiefs are, led by Patrick Mahomes, and that’s a game that’s going to be on the road. Then there are the Texans, who are a playoff team from 2024 that swept the Colts in both games last season.
Those are the only two playoff teams from 2024 that the Colts play during this stretch. However, we all know how poorly things have gone in Jacksonville over the last decade, and while Seattle wasn’t a playoff team, they still had 10 wins a year ago, not to mention that’s a long trip and a difficult place to play.
The 49ers, meanwhile, are coming off just a six-win season, but that’s certainly not a team you count out or one where you expect the 2024 season to be the start of a new trend.
Now, with that said, all of this is a projection based on what has happened or the path that we think a team is on. As we’ve seen over and over, that doesn’t mean that is how things will actually play out, especially as we look ahead that far into the upcoming season.
However, if the Colts are in a position where they need to bank some wins to make that playoff push, potentially, that could be difficult.
