MUNCIE, IN — Muncie police said a local woman was arrested on the early morning of Thursday, April 16, after returning from western Ohio with fentanyl.
Johnetta Christine LeGraff, 43, reportedly told officers she routinely made trips to the Dayton area to buy drugs.

“Johnetta said she purchases the illegal narcotics and then brings them back to (Muncie), where she then provides them to the people she makes the trip for,” an officer wrote. “Johnetta stated she often does this in exchange for free or cheaper drugs.”
Her arrest about 1 a.m. on Thursday in a traffic stop at 26th and Penn streets came after investigators reportedly learned she was driving a Chevrolet Trax that routinely traveled between the Dayton area and Muncie.
Officers reported finding three bags containing about 30 grams of a powder substance they believed to be fentanyl.
LeGraff was being held without bond in the Delaware County Jail on suspicion of dealing in a narcotic drug, two counts of possession of a narcotic drug and possession of paraphernalia.
Delaware County Prosecutor Eric Hoffman’s office will determine whether formal charges will be filed.
LeGraff has been convicted of conspiracy to commit dealing in cocaine, disorderly conduct and theft.
