If internet uniform leaks are to be believed, the Pacers are bringing back pinstripes.
Over the last week, leaked images of both a Pacers jersey and shorts found their way on to social media, including on the X account of the sneaker news site Sneaker Market RO. The jersey and shorts are both gold with blue pinstripes. The jersey has Indiana written across the middle and the shorts have the Pacers logo cut into the shape of the state of Indiana on the left side with blue piping around the image. The jersey and shorts combo bear some resemblance to the gold pinstriped jersey the Pacers wore as an alternative option from 2001-2005, but there are noticeable differences including less blue piping on the side of the uniform.
The Pacers, contacted through a spokesman, issued no comment on the images and no confirmation on news of a jersey change, so the image leaks are very much unofficial. However, there has been a push for a change in the Pacers’ jersey options, particularly from All-Star point guard and franchise player Tyrese Haliburton, who has been campaigning for new uniforms for years. The Pacers have had the same three core uniform combinations since 2021-22 with their city edition jerseys being the only change in that stretch so they would appear to be due for a change.
