Notre Dame alum Jadarian Price throws first pitch for Seattle Mariners

Former Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jadarian Price threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Seattle Mariners against the San Diego Padres on Sunday.

Price was drafted 32nd overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

It’s hard to see from the video, but it looks like Price’s pitch was a strike. Even if it wasn’t quite in the zone, it was definitely close — and definitely not an embarrassment for the newest Seahawk.

Running back or pitcher? Given that the Mariners lost 8-3, maybe Price can be a dual-sport athlete.
