It’s no biggie, the Indianapolis Colts quarterback said over the weekend.

“I’m all good,” he told 247Sports in Gainesville, Florida, where he attended several children’s events, “not really even a bump in the road. I feel like I tripped, I fell. Just got back up and hit the ground running again.”

The Colts shut down Richardson during minicamp as he experienced pain in his throwing shoulder.

“Anthony sustained an injury in his throwing shoulder,” Colts head coach Shane Steichen said at the time. “Felt some pain in it. Doctors, trainers checked it out. He’s got some aggravation in his AC joint, so we’re going to sit him out this week. Obviously, we’re going to sit him out for minicamp.”

Richardson has played 15 of a possible 34 games in his two seasons after being selected No. 4 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. He initially injured his right shoulder in Week 5 of his rookie year, and had season-ending surgery.

The team said Richardson’s current situation resulted from “stress over time” and not contact or a collision.

The Colts signed veteran Daniel Jones in free agency, and the two are expected to compete for the starting spot in training camp starting in late July.
