Fans of the new “Stranger Things” spinoff won’t have to wait long for Netflix to get back to Hawkins, Indiana.
Less than a week after the debut of “Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85,” Netflix has announced a second season of the animated show is on the way.

Season two will be released in fall 2026, the streaming service announced.

The 10-episode series premiered on April 23, and debuted in the Netflix Global Top 10 at #7.
More adventure is in store for the Hawkins gang, according to Netflix.
“After uncovering a fearsome mystery at the end of Tales From ’85 Season 1, Eleven (voiced by Brooklyn Davey Norstedt), Mike (Luca Diaz), Will (Benjamin Plessala), Dustin (Braxton Quinney), Lucas (Elisha “EJ” Williams), Max (Jolie Hoang-Rappaport), and Nikki (Odessa A’zion) will take on another perilous threat when new episodes head to Netflix this fall,” the streaming service announced.
’Stranger Things’ has had more than 1 billion views
The original series had reached 1.5 billion total views across its five seasons since its 2016 premiere through March 2026, Netflix said in a news release.
