WEST LAFAYETTE, IN — Starting Monday, July 28, the city will implement metered parking on several city-owned streets near the Purdue campus.
City officials say the initiative aims to improve parking availability and turnover in high-demand areas, ensuring better access for everyone.
First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Russell and Waldron streets will require payment through the ParkMobile app. ParkMobile meters will apply during posted hours; extended stays will require remote renewal via the app.
Individuals who want to park in these areas will need to download the ParkMobile app to pay for parking in the newly metered spots.
In June, the city rolled out the paid parking plan along areas of Airport Road, Brees Way, Brown Street, Discovery Park District, Mitch Daniels Boulevard and State Street.
For more information, visit the ParkMobile page on the city of West Lafayette’s website.
