Indiana University men’s basketball is coming to Evansville.

This will be IU’s first game in Southwestern Indiana since November 2011 when the Hoosiers defeated University of Evansville 94-73 in the second basketball game in Ford Center history. Indiana previously announced an exhibition against North Carolina on October 18 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Hoosiers went 18-14 in Darian Devries’ first season and failed to make the NCAA Tournament. Former Heritage Hills star Trent Sisley is the only returning player from that team after averaging 4.2 points and 2.8 rebounds as a freshman. Sisley scored a school-record 1,715 career points with the Patriots before transferring to Montverde Academy for his senior season.

Western Kentucky went 18-14 last year under second year coach Hank Plona. IU has not played WKU since 1993.
