The Colts will enter training camp with a plethora of unanswered questions on both sides of the football. Quarterback Daniel Jones could prove to be fully healthy during both training camp and the preseason, but the Colts will monitor the talented veteran closely as the summer progresses.

Jones suffered a torn right Achilles during Week 14 of the 2025 season in a matchup against the Jaguars. The former Giant was excellent throughout his first season in Indianapolis, and Jones could use the preseason to his advantage should he prove to be fully healthy by August.

Re-signing Jones was a priority for the Colts this offseason, but the roster experienced its share of turnover as well, and with that, will come some training camp and preseason battles for playing time.

Most notably, the defensive end rotation has to be determined this summer, along with Shane Steichen identifying who the third wide receiver will be. Rookie Jalen Farmer could push for playing time along the offensive line, while Bryce Boettcher could compete for the starting WILL linebacker role with Akeem Davis-Gaither. AJ Haulcy will be looking to solidify the starting safety spot next to Cam Bynum as well.
