The 2026 NBA Draft concluded on Wednesday evening, but the rookie signings are far from over. The wave of undrafted free agents has begun, and the Indiana Pacers were involved early.
After trading for Westfield native and former Purdue point guard Braden Smith in the second round, the Pacers spent the early morning hours Thursday to fill out their roster — for training camp, Summer League and otherwise.

Who have the Pacers signed? What kind of deal did they sign?
Rienk Mast, Nebraska
In Lincoln, Mast was a key piece of the Husker’s offense. The mobile big comes with a keen playmaking ability and the skill to stretch the floor.
Kowacie Reeves Jr., Georgia Tech
A wing out of Georgia Tech, Reeves is a strong defender that shot nearly 40% from 3 last season for the Yellow Jackets.
Keba Keita, BYU
Keita was an exciting player to watch in Provo, and now is expected to join the Pacers’ Summer League team in the near future. At BYU, Keita played alongside AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 player picked in this year’s draft.
Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State
Lipsey starred at Iowa State, where the Ames-native played four years. This past season, Lipsey was one of the best guards in the country for the Cyclones.
What is an exhibit-10 deal?
An exhibit-10 deal is a one-year, non-guaranteed contract for the NBA minimum salary. This type of deal allows players to attend training camp, and is commonly used to retain undrafted players.
Did the Pacers draft any players?
The Pacers entered the 2026 NBA Draft with zero selections to be made, but that changed on Wednesday night when the organization traded into the second round of the draft. Indiana traded guard Kam Jones and future pick swaps to the Chicago Bulls for the 38th pick, Purdue guard and Westfield-native Braden Smith.
