There are a few weeks until the start of the Indiana high school girls soccer season. Before the first whistle, the IndyStar has selected the top names to watch in 2026.
Players are listed in alphabetical order by last name. This list was compiled with input from local coaches.
Olivia Ade, Carmel, M
Ade helped the Greyhounds reach the Class 3A state title game last season. She tallied six assists and three goals for a Carmel team that earned a 19-3-1 record.
Addy Alsup, Lapel, M/F
Alsup ranked third on the team with 16 goals and 11 assists last season. She helped the 19-1 Bulldogs capture a regional title and reach semistate.
Isabella Cueto, Carmel, D
A first-team All-State selection, Cueto logged 1,526 minutes for a backline that allowed just 12 goals in 2025. She found the back of the net twice as a junior.
Allie Cunningham, Bishop Chatard, F
Cunningham totaled two assists and one goal last season. She played in all 19 games and registered 1,185 minutes of playing time.
Hannah Dodge, HSE, GK
Dodge is a Grand Valley commit that helped HSE girls soccer win its first state title in program history last season. She secured 16 shutouts in 22 games and allowed just five goals as a junior.
Wynsleigh Dorsey, Danville, M/F
Dorsey led the Warriors with 14 goals and 13 assists last season. Her 41 points also paced a Danville team that won a sectional title.
Elsie Flanders, Carmel, M
Flanders spearheaded a Carmel offense that totaled 195 points. She led the team with 21 points, nine assists and six goals.
Emma Gast, Heritage Christian, MF
Gast helped the Eagles capture the 1A state title in 2025. She led the team with 15 assists and hit the second most goals with 20 last season. The team finished with a 17-7 record.
Carol Gries, Bishop Chatard, F
Gries totaled 1,230 minutes of playing time through 18 games last season. She recorded three goals and one assist.
Ella Hastings, Avon, M
Hastings paced Avon with 15 points and six goals last season. She also dished out three assists, which ranked second on the team.
Mia Marlin, Center Grove, F
Marlin posted a team-high 19 goals and ranked second with eight assists. The Trojans secured a 19-3 record and a sectional title with Marlin earning the most points (46) on the team.
Addison McClain, HSE, M
McClain helped the Royals win the Class 3A state title and was a third-team All-State selection last season. The Ball State commit ranked second on the team with eight assists. She added nine goals for an HSE team that totaled 103.
Alaina Newsom, Zionsville, D
Newsom helped Zionsville achieve a 10-1-6 record last season. She was a member of a Zionsville team that recorded 11 shutouts and allowed seven goals. She registered 453 minutes of playing time and totaled three assists with one goal.
Amelia Romeril, Lawrence Central, M
Romeril ranked second in the state in assists (17) last season. She recorded the highest assist per game average (2.1) in Indiana. She hit the second most goals (10) for the Bears.
Sydney Shattuck, Park Tudor, M/F
Shattuck paced the Panthers with 25 goals last season. She also tallied nine assists, which ranked fourth on the team. She helped Park Tudor reached the Class 2A state title game with a 15-6-3 record.
Delaney Stone, Noblesville, M/F
A two-time state champion, Stone led Noblesville with eight goals and five assists during her junior season. The Millers finished with a 9-6-1 record and reached the second round of sectionals.
Quinn Usher, Cathedral, D
Usher played in all 19 games for the Fighting Irish last season. The Akron commit was a member of a stellar backline that allowed 11 goals. She totaled three assists and two goals.
Madisyn Valenti, Danville, MF/F
Valenti notched the second most goals (13) and assists (12) for the Warriors last season. She logged 1,145 minutes on the pitch.
Leila Wilson, Lapel, M/F
Wilson ranked second among all juniors with 39 goals last season. That number was 11th in the state. She also dished out 13 assists, which ranked second on the team.
