INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts have already signed six of the team’s eight 2025 draft picks, inking nearly all of the team’s draft picks before they began this weekend’s rookie minicamp.
Indianapolis signed second-round linebacker CJ Allen, third-round safety A.J. Haulcy, fifth-round defensive end George Gumbs Jr., sixth-round defensive end Caden Curry, seventh-round running back Seth McGowan and seventh-round wide receiver Deion Burks.
Only the team’s two fourth-rounders, guard Jalen Farmer and linebacker Bryce Boettcher, remain unsigned at the start of the team’s rookie minicamp.
For the most part, the days of lengthy rookie holdouts have gone away since the NFL implemented a rookie wage scale with the collective bargaining agreement in 2011. Before the wage scale was implemented, first-round picks often had lengthy contract negotiations with their teams that sometimes stretched into training camp.
IndyStar has obtained the contract details for all six rookies, according to sources.
