BOONVILLE — Here are the people who have filed to run for office in the upcoming May 5 primary election.
All candidates included here by the Courier & Press are on the official Secretary of State list as of Monday, Feb. 9. The filing deadline was Friday, Feb. 6 at noon.

Voters must be registered by April 6 to vote in the primary, and absentee voting begins April 7. On primary election day, the polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5.
Following the election, both the Democratic and Republican parties in Warrick County have the opportunity to fill a ballot vacancy. This can be done between May 8 and July 3.
