Here's when you can catch fireworks shows in the Tri-State

Residents in the Tri-State have the chance to hit up fireworks shows from July 3-5.

Henderson, Kentucky, kicks off the celebration July 3, followed by Evansville on July 4 and multiple neighboring communities offering shows July 5.

Here are all the chances to firework shows this year.

Evansville’s Fireworks on the Ohio

July 4, 6 p.m., fireworks displays start at 9:15 p.m. Riverside Drive. Free.

Activities and food trucks open at 6 p.m. July 4. The fireworks will start around 9:15 p.m. at Riverside Drive.

The event is free to attend.

Folding chairs, blankets, strollers and small umbrellas are all permitted. There should be no personal fireworks, alcohol, coolers or drones brought to the event.

Newburgh’s Fireworks over the Burgh

July 5, fireworks begin after sunset, Newburgh Riverfront. Free.

Fireworks will be back in Newburgh as a part of a busy day on the riverfront. The Strawberry Social will happen from noon to 5 p.m. and the Newburgh Music Festival starts at 2 p.m.

The fireworks will start after sunset.

Boonville’s Scales Lake fireworks

July 5, 9 p.m., Scales Lake Park, 800 W. Tennyson Road. $5 per car.

No personal fireworks can be brought into the park and annual passes are not valid for the event.

Fireworks start at dark.

Mount Vernon’s fireworks at the riverfront

July 5, 5 p.m., fireworks start after dark, Mount Vernon riverfront. Free.

There will be food and live music starting at 5 p.m. at the riverfront in Mount Vernon.

Entry to the event is free.

Princeton’s Gibson County fireworks show

July 5, 6 p.m., fireworks at sundown, Gibson County Fairgrounds 709 N. Embree St. $2 per car. Walk-ins are free.

No fireworks are permitted on the fairgrounds. Gates open at 6 p.m. and fireworks start at sunset. The Gibson County Fair begins July 6, so many concessions will be available.

Henderson, Kentucky’s Independence Day Fireworks Celebration

July 3, 5 p.m., fireworks start around 9:15 p.m., Audubon Mill Park at 123 N. Water St. Free entry.

Food vendors begin at 5 p.m. and children’s activities start at 6 p.m. Fireworks will kickoff after dark around 9:15 p.m.

There will be live music from the Old Dam Community Band at 6:30 p.m.
