‘An Evening with Wilco’
Friday at 8 p.m. at Old National Events Plaza. Tickets start at $66.90.
Wilco, a Grammy-award winning rock and country band who stand amongst some of the most influential musical acts of the last four decades, will come to Evansville for the first time this spring.
The show will feature two complete sets with an intermission in between.
University of Southern Indiana Theatre presents ‘Dear Evan Hansen’
Thursday – Saturday at 7 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday at the USI Performance Center, 8600 University Blvd. Tickets are $2 for USI students, $12 for employees and alumni, $4 for non-USI students, with student ID, $12 for seniors and $15 for adults. Tickets are free to USI students with ID one hour before each performance begins if available.
‘Dear Evan Hansen’ will be directed by Joshua Robinson, assistant professor of musical theatre with musical direction from by Thomas Drury, advanced instructor in music, and choreography by Jaddyn Sage, lecturer.
According to the show description, the story follows a high school student battling social anxiety when he finds himself the center of a misunderstanding.
USI states the production is recommended for audiences age 13 and up.
University of Evansville Theatre presents ‘THE HUMANS’
Thursday – Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday at 2 p.m. at the May Studio Theatre. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors, UE staff and non-UE students. UE students can get one fee ticket at noon of the day of the performance they want to attend.
‘THE HUMANS’ is directed by Landry Barker, a senior performance major.
The play was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and the 2016 Tony Award winner for Best Play. It focuses on a family gathering for Thanksgiving in lower-Manhattan.
Under the Radar Concert Series
Sunday at 7 p.m. at Angel Mounds. Tickets are $20.
The Under the Radar Concert Series will bring country artist Logan Mac to perform at Angel Mounds. Mac’s debut album, ‘Til the Ground,’ released earlier this month.
The event is hosted in partnership with the Indiana State Museum.
EVPL 2026 SPEAK series begins Thursday
Thursday at 7 p.m. at Old National Events Plaza in Downtown Evansville. Free.
The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library will host Sarah Adams, a New York Times and USA Today bestelling author of 13 romantic comedy novels.
Here top-selling books are “The Cheat Sheet” and “Practice Makes Perfect.”
“For the 2026 SPEAK series, we’ve created a theme of ‘spark a love of reading with EVPL’ to remind people of the joy and escapism that can come from reading great stories,” stated Erika Qualls Barnett, Director of Programming & Outreach, EVPL. “Sarah Adams’ books are often described as full of heart, humor, and a cozy escape for romantics, dreamers, and deep feelers.”
