Former Fishers star, Notre Dame transfer commits to perennial Elite Eight SEC team

Jalan Haralson of Anderson, Indiana, has picked Tennessee as his transfer portal destination.

Haralson, who transferred from Fishers to La Lumiere midway through his high school career, played one season at Notre Dame. He started most of the season, taking on a large role after a season-ending injury to Markus Burton.

Haralson averaged 16.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He had a career-high 26 points against Syracuse on Jan. 31.

He joins a Rick Barnes-led Vols program that has been to three straight Elite Eights, but seeks their first Final Four berth.
