Chocolate milk enthusiasts, get ready. Kroger has a deal you’re going to want to hear about.
The Kroger Co., which has more than 2,700 U.S. retail stores including Dillons, Fred Meyer and Ralphs supermarkets, is giving away free half-gallons of Kroger Brand Chocolate Milk on Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27, in celebration of National Chocolate Milk Day.
Why do people love Kroger chocolate milk?
The drink holds a special place in many homes, whether as a quick dose of liquid energy and protein for kids and athletes or a taste of nostalgia for parents. Kroger’s chocolate milk has been heralded among the chocolate milk competition as particularly tasty.
“Chocolate milk may be the original after school treat, but Kroger Brand Chocolate Milk has grown into so much more – it’s a top-rated favorite among customers of all ages,” said Ann Reed, group vice president of Our Brands at Kroger, in a news release. Last year, Kroger celebrated National Chocolate Milk Day with chocolate milk parties in its stores.
How to get free chocolate milk from Kroger on National Chocolate Milk Day
Starting Friday, Sept. 26, at 12 a.m. ET (Thursday, Sept. 25 at 9 p.m. PT), you can download a limited-time, single-use coupon at Kroger.com, for use on the website or to print out to use in stores.
Available while supplies last, the coupons are redeemable at Kroger stores and many of its family of stores.
The offer is not good in some states where dairy laws prohibit the sale of dairy products at or below cost; among them, the Mid-Atlantic, Nashville and Missouri (Dillons), Nevada (Smith’s) and California (King Soopers, Ralphs and Food 4 Less).
In those locations, customers can get a free box of Kroger Brand Cereal with the purchase of a half-gallon of Kroger Brand Chocolate Milk (limit one per household).
