Fall is almost here. Get your pumpkins at these Indiana orchards and pumpkin patches

The second the temperature drops below 75, some Hoosiers are ready to get their favorite sweaters.

The weather feels like a sure sign that fall is just around the corner (except for the occasional 82 degree day we get after that, but we’re ready for fall nonetheless).

If you’ve got your Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand and you’re ready to plan out your fall, here’s where you can experience some fall fun and get pumpkins locally in Indiana.

Anderson Orchard

369 East Greencastle Road Mooresville, IN 46158

Anderson Orchard offers U-pick apples, the Apple Barn (their farm store), a concession stand, a pumpkin patch and children’s activities.

They opened up for the 2025 season on Aug. 30.

Apple Works

8157 South 250 West Trafalgar, IN 46181

Apple Works is an orchard with a pumpkin patch, farm store, animals, and attractions for kids including the Baffling Bamboo Maze, the Super Slide, Rope Barn, The Apple Express, pony rides and wagon rides.

Apple Works is open year-round.

Beasley’s Orchard

2304 East Main St. Danville, IN 46122

Beasley’s Orchard offers a fresh market, a corn maze, hayrides to the pumpkin patch, U-pick apples, as well as pony rides, face painting, food trucks and more on the weekends.

While Beasley Orchard is already open for the season, pumpkins won’t be available until Sept. 20, according to their Facebook.

Goebel Farms

4745 W. Boonville-New Harmony Road, Evansville

In the fall, before its Christmas tree sales begin, Goebel Farms has pumpkins for sale and a corn maze to explore.

Goebel Farms opens Sept. 28, according to their website.

Hogan Farms

8900 E. County Road 1000 N. Brownsburg, IN 46112

Hogan Farms offers a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, a petting zoo, a kid zone, hayrides and a farmer’s market on the weekends.

According to their Facebook page, information about opening day will be shared soon.

Lark Ranch

3145 Killion Mill Road Loogootee, IN 47553

1611 N. Meridian Road Greenfield, IN 46140

1565 St. Johns Church Road Lanesville IN 47136

Lark Ranch offers a variety of activities at its three locations, including a pumpkin patch, apple cannons, train rides, a carousel, a corn maze, hayrides, carnival rides, a playground, adult ziplines and more.

According to their Facebook page, all locations will open for the season on Sept. 20.

Mayse Farm Market

6400 N. St. Joseph Ave., Evansville

Mayse has pumpkins and fall family activities, along with a bakery.

Mayse Farm Market opens for the season on Sept. 20.

Pleasant View Orchard Indiana

10721 North 850 West Fairland, IN 46126

Pleasant View Orchard offers U-pick apples, a pumpkin patch, a country store with preserves, local produce, candy, cider, caramel apples and more.

Pleasant View opened for the season on July 2.

Russell Farms

12290 E. 191st Street Noblesville, Indiana 46060

Russell Farms offers a pumpkin patch, corn mazes, a country store, farm exhibits, petting zoo and an assortment of eats at the Red Food Barn.

Russell Farms will kick off their opening weekend on Sept. 27.

Stanton Road U-pick Pumpkin Patch

The Stanton Road U-pick Pumpkin Patch offers a pumpkin patch with a pumpkin washing station so you can wash your pumpkin before taking it home and a corn maze.

Opening day for the Stanton Road U-pick Pumpkin Patch will be Oct. 5.

Stuckey Farm

19975 Hamilton Boone Road, Sheridan, IN 46069

Stuckey Farm is an orchard and cider mill that offers U-pick apples, a pumpkin patch, kid-friendly play areas and a corn maze.

Stuckey Farm opened for the season on Aug. 14.

Tuttle Orchards

5717 North 300 West Greenfield IN, 46140

Tuttle Orchards offers U-pick apples, they sell goods at their farm store, meals at the grill, they have a corn maze, Tractor Town, a pumpkin patch and wagon rides on the weekends.

Tuttle’s is open year-round, but their fall season began on Aug. 29.

Waterman’s Family Farm

7010 East Raymond St. Indianapolis, IN 46239

During their Fall Harvest Festival, Waterman’s Family Farm offers a farm market, hayrides, farm animals, train rides, a farm playground, live music, food vendors and more activities for kids.

Waterman’s Family Farm will open for the season on Sept. 27.
