Wakim, a cast member on Saturday Night Live during its landmark Season 50, was first a Bloomington townie who attended Indiana University and spent many nights at the Comedy Attic, working and then performing at the club beginning in 2017. He made history as the first Lebanese American to be cast on Saturday Night Live (SNL).

The last time Wakim performed at the Comedy Attic was in Aug. 29 and 30, 2025 — after his time on SNL, which was September 2024 to May 2025. His debut

“We’ve been trying to get him back since he was here last,” said Dayna Thompson, co-owner of the Comedy Attic. “We’ve been working on it, working on it.”

Thompson said all three nights of Wakim’s last time at the comedy club were sold out. She expects the same for the five shows when he returns Oct. 22-24.

Tickets for the Comedy Attic performances are on sale, priced at $37.89 each. To purchase tickets, go online to www.comedyattic.com.
