Founded in 1979, TaylorMade manufactures high-performance golf equipment.

TaylorMade’s new distribution center will be located on 53 acres of land on the northwest corner of U.S. 41 and Petersburg Road, across the road from The Farm golf course. The business has been in Evansville since 2019.

The former facility, which has operated in Evansville since 2019 at 4400 Garrison Ave., boasted 300,000 square feet of space, employed some 150 full-time workers.

According to a news release from the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership, the space will allow TaylorMade to move its operations under one roof.

The business plans to move into the new warehouse in early 2027 and begin hiring later that year.

“The new distribution center will significantly enhance our operational capabilities while creating meaningful opportunities within the Evansville community,” stated Jessica Delgado, Associate Director of PMO Operations at TaylorMade Golf. “Indiana has been an incredible place to live and work, and its strong workforce, collaborative spirit, and commitment to growth make it the ideal location forthis expansion.”

According to EREP, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation has promised an investment of up to $555,000 in the form of incentive-based tax credits.

These credits are performance-based, EREP stated. The company must follow through with its investments and job creation.

“TaylorMade’s decision to expand in Vanderburgh County is a strong vote of confidence in our community and our workforce,” stated Justin Elpers, President of the Vanderburgh County Board of Commissioners. “This project reflects a long-term partnership and our commitment as Commissioners to support employers that create good jobs here. We’re proud to stand with TaylorMade as they grow their footprint and invest in Vanderburgh County’s future.”
