INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Fever bounced back from a tough road trip with a commanding win over Atlanta 83-71 on Thursday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Caitlin Clark had 17 points, seven rebounds and eight assists over 30 minutes, even as she worked through fatigue and threw up at halftime. Kelsey Mitchell led the Fever with 25 points and crossed 5,000 career points, and Aliyah Boston had 19 points and seven rebounds.
The Fever are now 5-4 and 1-0 in Commissioner’s Cup play. The Dream fell to 6-3.

What the Indiana Fever’s win vs Atlanta Dream means
The Fever needed a bounceback game, and they got it against Atlanta. They showed they can execute some new defensive schemes, overall had a great defensive game, and put together possibly their best game of the season so far against the formidable Dream.
