Dealing with injuries, Colts worked out 3 offensive linemen

Dealing with injuries up front, the Indianapolis Colts reportedly worked out a few offensive linemen on Monday.

According to Jake Arthur, the Colts have interior offensive lineman Will Hernandez in for a workout, along with offensive tackles D’Ante Smith and Trey Wedig.

Arthur adds that tackles Luke Tenuta and Nolan Rucci are dealing with injuries. Tenuta appears to be the first tackle option off the bench for the Colts, while Rucci, a UDFA, is fighting for a roster spot.

The top tackle options off the bench at the moment are Blake Freeland and Bayron Matos.

A second-round pick in 2018, Hernandez is quite experienced, playing in 104 career games while making 98 starts. He’s played both guard positions.

Smith was a fourth-round pick in 2021, but has played just 77 total offensive snaps. Wedig went undrafted in 2025 and didn’t see any regular-season action as a rookie.

As of now, no signing has been reported.
