The Indianapolis Colts reportedly worked out six players on Tuesday, including two-time Pro Bowler Shaq Barrett.
Barrett, along with five other pass rushers, were brought in for a tryout while the Colts find themselves navigating some injuries at defensive end.
Tyquan Lewis is day to day, as Shane Steichen put it, after he exited Sunday’s game with a groin injury.
Samson Ebukam is also reportedly expected to miss “multiple weeks” with a knee injury.
Indianapolis Colts tryouts
Barrett went undrafted in 2014 out of Colorado State and began his NFL career with the Denver Broncos.
After four seasons in Denver, Barrett joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he was a two-time Pro Bowler and a second-team All-Pro. Barrett also won two Super Bowls in his career.
Over 132 games, Barrett has 22 forced fumbles, 18 pass deflections, 59 sacks, and 73 tackles for loss.
However, Barrett isn’t who the Colts would sign at this time. Instead, the team announced that they signed Seth Coleman to the practice squad.
