Ashton Dulin’s tenure with the Colts
Dulin went undrafted in 2019 and signed with the Colts, where he has played since. The 2026 season is the final year of Dulin’s current deal.
Recapping Ashton Dulin’s 2025 season
Dulin was the fourth option at wideout for much of last season, but he still had a relatively small role on offense, playing 166 total snaps. About half of Dulin’s snaps came on running plays, where he is a capable blocker. He caught 5-of-10 passes for 106 yards, averaging 21.2 yards per catch, with receptions of 35 yards and 48 yards.
The majority of Dulin’s playing time comes on special teams. He played 195 snaps across five of the six different units. Dulin also handled some kick return duties, averaging 32.3 yards per return on 16 attempts.
Looking ahead to 2026 for Ashton Dulin
Dulin could step into a larger role this year. With Michael Pittman no longer with the Colts, the WR3 role is up for grabs, and through offseason programs, Dulin appears to be the front-runner for those snaps.
“He’s shown the capability to line up just about anywhere on the field,” OC Jim Bob Cooter said of Dulin, via James Boyd of The Athletic. “Whether that’s running routes, whether that’s kind of getting a little down and dirty in the blocking game … He’s a valuable player for us.”
While someone has to be the starter on paper, we could see a rotation at the WR3 spot, with the matchups and in-game situations dictating who sees playing time. I would anticipate that Dulin continues to play a key role on special teams as well.
