An absurd job interview, family rifts and more at Indy Film Fest 2026

Indy Film Fest is returning for its 23rd year with more than 70 films from 17 countries, including five world premieres. From April 22-26, the festival will show a mix of comedies, dramas and documentaries, with more than 15 made in Indiana.

Indy Film Fest will open with “Carolina Caroline,” about a woman who leaves her small town and joins a con man to search for her estranged mother in the Southeast.

For the next five days, fans can watch movies in person at the Kan-Kan Cinema and Dance Kaleidoscope. Online screenings will be available as well.

Indy Film Fest 2026 dates and theaters

From April 22-26, watch films in person at the Kan-Kan Cinema, 1258 Windsor St., and at Dance Kaleidoscope, 1125 E. Brookside Ave., Suite D5, in the Factory Arts District. Virtual screenings will be available as well.
