Two prominent Peoria businesses temporarily closed after water main break

A pair of businesses at Westlake Shopping Center are closed due to a water main break in the area.

Guitar Center and Sushigawa are closed temporarily, with signs posted on the front doors of each business warning of the issues with the water main. A sign at the front of Sushigawa said that the restaurant would be closed until further notice, asking that people visit their sister location, Osaka Hibachi and Sushi Bar at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie.

All other businesses at Westlake remain open, but there is no timetable for when Guitar Center and Sushigawa will reopen.

A phone call to Cohen Development Group, owners of Westlake, went unanswered Friday afternoon.
