Here is the high school football schedule for every team in the Springfield area for the 2026 season.

The Illinois High School Association officially released its complete schedule on Wednesday, July 22. Practices start on Wednesday, August 5, with Week 1 kicking off earlier than in the past on Friday, August 21 due to the new playoff expansion.

Litchfield, of the South Central Conference, announced on Thursday, July 23, that it has canceled its varsity season due to low participation numbers among upperclassmen. Those games have been removed from the schedule below and will be deemed a forfeit by Litchfield unless replaced.
