Roscoe hosts resource event for those impacted by April 17 storm

Winnebago County and the Village of Roscoe will host a Multi-Agency Resource Center from 2 to 7 p.m. April 24 at Life Church, 5910 Elevator Road, in Roscoe.

Anyone who needs help with cleanup efforts or navigating the recovery process is asked to come to the event and meet with representatives from local and state agencies along with others who can provide assistance.

The event is open to any Winnebago County resident affected by the recent storms.

Representatives will be available to assist with:

Participating organizations include the Roscoe Police Department, Winnebago County Health Department, Illinois Department of Insurance, Winnebago County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency (ESDA), the American Red Cross, Lutheran Church Charities L.E.R.T., and additional partner agencies.

Residents attending the MARC are encouraged to bring identification and any relevant insurance or recovery-related documentation to help facilitate assistance.
