Princeville looking for new boys basketball head coach

Princeville is looking for a new boys basketball head coach.

Tait Sennett tendered his resignation last month, ending a five-year run with the Princes. He went 100-60 (.625) in the last half-decade, leading Princeville to the 2025 Class 1A Sweet Sixteen.

Sennett guided that sectional finalist team to a 27-9 record following the 2023-24 campaign where Princeville went 28-6. In total, the Princes posted three winning seasons under Sennett, whose 2022-23 squad was 19-14.

Princeville went 15-16 overall and 5-6 in the Lincoln Trail Conference for a sixth-place league finish this past season. The Princes lost in a Class 1A regional opener and finished the season by losing six of their last eight games. All-league players Brady Day (first team) and Elijah Christianson (honorable mention) are graduating seniors.

The new head coach will only be Princeville’s fourth since 1994.
