Poll results: Rockford readers vote on favorite place to cool off on a hot day

From lakes to swimming pools to water parks to splash pads, Rockford has plenty of places to cool off on a hot summer day.

We asked readers which local place was their favorite. Here’s how they voted in our online poll.

We asked readers to vote for their favorites. A total of 28 votes were cast.

Hurricane Harbor Rockford took to the top spot with 32% of the vote, followed by Alpine Park Pool with 18%, Klehm’s Children’s Garden Stream with 14%, Sand Park Pool with 11%.

Other locations to get votes included Olson Lake Beach at Rock Cut State Park, Peak Sports Club Pool, Pearl Lake and Millennium Fountain.
