The 2026 NFL Draft is finally here, and teams will begin bolstering their rosters with some of the nation’s best talent in college football.
The Las Vegas Raiders will kick things off with the first overall pick, which everyone knows will be Heisman winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza. But there could be some surprises in store in the first round as there are rumblings of trades and a run on offensive tackles.
There are plenty of storylines to monitor with the Chicago Bears, who will be picking outside of the Top 10 for the first time in four years. Will Chicago target an edge rusher or interior lineman? Find a starting safety? Perhaps upgrade at left tackle? With general manager Ryan Poles and head coach Ben Johnson’s best-available mentality, we won’t know until we see how the board falls.
