At least 11 small-scale tornadoes were recorded in central Illinois on Wednesday during the widespread thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.

Where were tornadoes recorded?
The NWS published an interactive map of the documented June 18 tornadoes on its website, noting that the data is still being updated. As of June 20, the following tornadoes were recorded:
The NWS said in a June 19 Facebook post that the strongest tornado, documented north of Jacksonville with an EF of at least 2, was not yet plotted.
EF Scale explained
The Enhanced Fujita, or EF, Scale rates tornadoes based on their wind speed and related damage, according to the NWS. The scale, which ranges from zero to five, uses three-second gusts estimated at the point of damage.
