The case of a missing Kewanee man found dead on May 30 is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Illinois State Police.
State police are asking the public for any information relating to the suspected homicide of Catrelle Reed, 39, who was reported missing in Kewanee and then found dead on May 30 at the intersection of Highway 81 and East 2350th Street west of Kewanee.
An autopsy conducted on Reed ruled his death to be a homicide, police said.
Reed was last seen on May 22. Crime scene investigators searched license plate reader technology and found that his car was last driven on May 23.
