CHAMPAIGN — Bret Bielema and Illinois football moved up two spots to No. 23 in the most recent US LBM Coaches Poll, which was released Sunday.
The Illini (5-1) were off this week and are coming off a 34-16 loss to No. 1 Ohio State. The Illini travel to face Washington at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday, Oct. 25.
Illinois is among five Big Ten Conference teams still in the new rankings, including No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana, No. 6 Oregon and No. 24 Michigan.
