IHSA Week 8 playoff outlook: The 36 unbeaten teams in Illinois high school football

The Illinois High School Association this week released the 2025 playoff outlook ahead of Week 8, which now is led by automatic qualifiers separated by hypothetical class and ranked by won-lost record.

The weekly list works only as a guide to the playoffs and is not a prediction of the final classes and seeds, although its usefulness as a postseason roadmap grows each week.

Below are the 36 remaining unbeaten teams in each of the eight classes, with playoff points, along with the enrollment range of each class, which are subject to change based on which teams qualify for the 256-team playoffs.

Unbeaten Peoria-area teams are in bold, while the rest of the area teams are listed below each class.
