IESA cross country state finals are this weekend. Here are the 267 Peoria-area finalists

NORMAL — A total of 23 teams and 267 overall cross country runners from Peoria-area grade schools are scheduled to compete this weekend at the 2025 Illinois Elementary School Association state finals at Maxwell Park in Normal.

In all, more than 2,300 boys and girls from 330 schools will complete in eight races across four classes to determine 25 medalists and the top four teams in each of the Class 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A divisions. The races begin at 9:15 a.m. and are staggered every 45 minutes. There is no charge for admission or parking at the event.
