The Soderstrom Family Castle, 4717 N. Grandview Drive, Peoria Heights, will be open on select dates this December for holiday home tours.
Tours will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7; Sunday, Dec. 14; and Sunday, Dec. 21; as well as 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, and Wednesday, Dec. 17.
The 30-minute tours will include full access to all four floors of the castle, including rarely seen rooms. Items on display will include unique artifacts from the original owners and a Rolan Johnson Christmas card collection.
Tours will conclude with live performances from local Madrigal groups and other performers and guests can enjoy Trefzger’s cookies and punch served in a German Glühwein mug that customers can keep.
Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at www.soderstromcastle.com.
