Chicago Bears right tackle Darnell Wright left Thursday’s training camp practice with an apparent injury, according to Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs.
According to Biggs, Wright “came up awkward” during the final team period of Thursday’s non-padded practice ahead of Friday’s joint workout with the Miami Dolphins.
Wright is the lone returning starter from last year’s disastrous offensive line, and the former first-round pick is entering his third season where he’s looking to take another step forward along an improved offensive line including veteran guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, as well as center Drew Dalman.
There’s been no announcement from the Bears at this time.
