Bears are betting favorites to trade for Maxx Crosby

The Chicago Bears are heating up on the trade market both as potential sellers and buyers. Not only are linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, wide receiver DJ Moore and quarterback Tyson Bagent all trade candidates, Chicago is also linked to Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby.

There’s a growing sense around the league that Crosby will be dealt this week, per Albert Breer, and the Bears are among the teams “keeping tabs” on the five-time Pro Bowler. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero also named Chicago as a good fit for Crosby. Now, the Bears are the betting favorites to land him.

DraftKings Sportsbook has the Bears as the +200 favorites to trade for Crosby. The Raiders are +350 to retain Crosby while the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Rams, and Philadelphia Eagles are all +700 to land Crosby.

The Bears need to address their pass rush this offseason after mustering just 35 sacks, the seventh-fewest in the league, in 2025. Defensive tackle and edge rusher are the biggest position needs, and Crosby would immediately upgrade the pass rush and defense as a whole.

The Raiders are reportedly interested in Edmunds, who was granted permission to seek a trade, and they’ve also been linked to Moore, who would provide a solid pass catcher for incoming rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza. Edmunds and/or Moore could be pieces in a potential trade with the Bears and Raiders.
