In theory, you could wear swim trunks or a bikini to any NFL stadium. Jacksonville, though, has the only stadium in the league where you could actually put that swimwear to use.
But let’s be clear on one thing. Those aren’t swimming pools overlooking the north end zone at Jacksonville’s EverBank Stadium; the Jaguars call them “spas.” And if you don’t have a special ticket, you won’t be able to use them.

When did the Jaguars install pools at EverBank Stadium?
The two pools on the north endzone deck were part of a $63 million 2014 upgrade that also included the massive video boards on either end of the stadium. The team paid $20 million of the cost; the city picked up the rest of the tab.
Do any other NFL stadiums have pools?
EverBank Stadium is the only venue in the NFL with in-stadium pools. Chase Field, home of Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks, also has a pool. The Miami Marlins had a stadium pool but closed it in 2020.
How big are the pools are EverBank Stadium?
The two pools, each with an acrylic front panel, measure 12-by-15 feet and are 3 1/2 feet deep.
How many people can fit in the pools at EverBank Stadium?
Each pool holds about 20 people.
How to get in the pools at the Jaguars’ stadium. Can anyone jump in?
No, just because you’re hot and sweaty doesn’t mean you can jump into the pools. They are reserved for people who purchase seats in the Tropical Smoothie Café Spa Cabanas adjacent to the pools. There are eight spa cabanas, each holding 50 people. The stadium also has 14 terrace cabanas, but fans seated there aren’t permitted to use the pools.
I heard announcers joking that no one in the pools was over 29. Are there restrictions on who can use them?
First, you have to have a spa cabana ticket. Other than that, children must be at least 4-foot-6 or accompanied by an adult to use the pools.
Do the pools have lifeguards?
Yes.
How much are tickets for the pools at EverBank Stadium?
The cabanas start at $17,000, which includes 50 tickets and pool access.
17,000? Can I buy just one ticket for the pools?
No, the cabanas are sold as a unit and you cannot buy a single ticket.
Are cabana seats sold out for the season?
No. They are still available for games this season, according to Lyndsay Rossman, the team’s director of business communication.
Are the pools open when it’s cold?
Yes. The pools are heated during cold-weather games.
Are Jaguars games the only time the pools at EverBank Stadium are open?
No. The stadium hosts events other than Jaguars games — the Florida-Georgia game, Monster Jam, concerts. The pools are available to rent for some of those events. They can also be rented for private events such as weddings.
Will the new Jaguars stadium have a pool?
Yes. It’s unclear if the pools will be available next season, when capacity will be reduced as the Stadium of the Future project starts taking shape. “We are still working through the construction sequencing for the 2026 season and what areas of the building will or will not be impacted,” Rossman said. They definitely will be closed for the 2027 season, when the team will play home games in Orlando or Gainesville as the stadium is rebuilt. They are in the plans for the new stadium, although initial renderings show them relocated to the corners of the north end zone.
