A Winter Haven man was arrested for pleasuring himself in the ocean and following minor girls who tried to get away from him, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said.
Darwish Darwish, 63, was charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition by a person 18 years or older to a victim under the age of 16, indecent exposure, and two counts of aggravated stalking of a person less than 16 years of age. He was out of the Volusia County Branch Jail on $20,500 bail.

Volusia County deputies said they were called to the 600 block of Atlantic Ave. near the Sunsplash Park at 4:57 p.m. July 20 about a man sexually exposing himself while in the sea.
The person who called deputies said he was the guardian of a group of teenage girls who were visiting Florida for a volleyball camp. The girls ranged from 13 to 16, according to an arrest report.
Deputies learned that the girls saw Darwish exposing his genitalia and reported it to their guardian.
The children reported that they tried to distance themselves from Darwish but that he followed them in the water, and they exited the sea, the report said.
A deputy used his PA system to order Darwish out of the water.
After he was arrested, Darwish told deputies that he was diabetic and needed to use the bathroom a lot, so he exposed himself to urinate in the ocean. Darwish was near the Sunsplash Park, where several bathrooms were available, deputies wrote in the arrest report.
